Shipping activity Port Qasim

KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers, crude oil and chemical were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal, FOTCO Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively on Wednesday, 14th August.Meanwhile four more ships carrying containers,chemical and milt vehicles also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was 35% at the Port on Thursday where a total four ships namely CGM Straciss, Argent Gerbera, Bright Oil Legend and Bunga Angsana are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, chemical, crude oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo Volume of 45100 tonnes comprising 38947 tonnes imports and 6153 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 904 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
