PSALM, the state-run agency tasked with privatising assets and managing the debt of state-owned National Power Corp, said it was seeking bids for 55,000 tonnes of imported steaming coal and 85,000 tonnes of local blending coal. Both volumes will be used for the state-run Naga power plant complex.
A pre-bidding conference would be held on February 2 prior to final submission of bids on or before February 15, the agency said in a public notice.
