Payment of salaries is top priority; all problems will be resolved: PSM Chief Executive

KARACHI: Despite weekly holiday, the Chief Executive Officer, Pakistan Steel Saadat Cheema held another meeting with the senior Directors at operation building, Pakistan Steel. During the meeting it was decided that the case of Pakistan Steel Mills will be taken up with the Federal Government and apprise it about the current problems being faced by the organization. Among all the issues the payment of salaries to the employees of PSM was given top priority.

The CEO assured that the case of PSM be taken up with the Ministry of Finance through Ministry of Industries and Production as soon as possible, so that it may be discussed in the upcoming session of ECC and all the issues including the payment of salaries may be resolved.

During the meeting the CEO, Saadat Cheema said that Pakistan Steel is a national asset and thousands of people and families are linked with this great organization. All these officers and employees are a great asset of the organization. He further said that Pakistan Steel has a lot of potential and hoped that the organization can once again stand on its feet.
