KARACHI: A Member of Sindh Assembly belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Muhammad Sajid Qureshi, 53, was shot dead along with one of his sons, by unknown gunmen here on Friday.

The unidentified assailants opened fire on the deceased when he came out of Masjid-ul-Huda in block-B, North Nazimabad, after offering Namaz-e-Juma.

MPA Sajid Qureshi was elected from PS-103 constituency of the Sindh Assembly.
