Water level increases in Mangla, Tarbela dams

ISLAMABAD: The water level in Tarbela and Mangla dams has been increasing constantly due to fast melting of snow from the glaciers on Sunday.

According to Flood Forecasting Division, currently Tarbela Dam's total water level is 1550 feet; inflow of water is 185,700 cusecs and outflow is 105,000 cusecs. Mangla Dam's current water level is 1242 feet, inflow of water is 19,887 cusecs and outflow is 13,000 cusecs.

Chashma Barrage's current water inflow is 170,150 cusecs and out flow is 165,000; the water inflow at Kalabagh is 165,951 cusecs and outflow is 159,451 cusecs.

In River Chanab at Marala, current water inflow is 52,629 cusecs and outflow is 34,806 cusecs while in River Kabul at Naushehra the water flow is 38,600 cusecs.
