The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 13.756 million shares to close against previous turnover of 11.351 million shares, showing a downward slide of 2.404 million shares. While, out of the total 106 active scrips only 33 moved up, 39 remained equal with 34 shed values.
Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Netsol Technologies Limited and Burshane LPG (Pakistan) were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 13.78, Rs 1.53 and Rs 1.25, respectively.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, National Refinery Limited and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited lost their per share value by Rs 8.13, Rs 6.32 and Rs 6.06, respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab (R) with 3.469 million shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.350 million shares and Pace Pakistan Limited with 971,500 shares.
