Lahore Stock Exchange up by 27.91 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 27.91 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4750.95 and closed at 4778.86 points.

The market's overall situation, however, could not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 11.351 million shares to close against previous turnover of 11.480 million shares, showing a slight downward slide of 129,000 shares. While, out of the total 113 active scrips, 36 moved up, 48 remained equal with 29 shed values.

Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Kohat Cement Company Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 10.25, Rs 5.13 and Rs 2.91 respectively.

National Refinery Limited, Nishat (Chunian) Limited and Attock Refinery Limited lost their per share value by Rs 7.91, Rs 1.31 and Rs 1.18 respectively.

The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab (R) with 3.171 million shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.196 million shares and Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 885,000 shares.
