QUETTA: The first session of 10th Balochistan Assembly is being held today at 5 pm.

The newly elected members will take oath in the first session of 10th provincial assembly.

Outgoing Speaker Syed Matiullah Agha will administer oath to the new members.

It is likely that about 60 legislators out of total 65 hailing from different political parties including 18 lawmakers of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), 14 of Pashtoonkhawa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), 11 of National Party (NP), eight of Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl, five of PML-Q and one each of Balochistan National Party-Awami (BNP-A), Awami National Party (ANP), Jamoot Qaumi Movement (JQM) and Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen (MWM) will take oath.

Heavy security arrangements have been made at and around the assembly premises while visitor's cards were not issued due to security reasons.
