Senior legislator calls friendship between youths of China, Pakistan

Wang, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, praised the recent growth of relations between the two countries, highlighting that China and Pakistan have already forged an all-weather strategic partnership.

He made the remarks in a meeting with a 100-member Pakistani youth delegation headed by Muhammad Asif, Joint Secretary of the Economic Affairs Division of Pakistan here at the Great Hall of the People.

He told that the exchange between the two youths shapes the future of the relations between the two nations, expressing his hope that the two groups of the young can learn from each other and increase mutual understanding in an effort to push forward the strategic partnership of China and Pakistan.

Asif said that he and his delegation would make unremitting efforts to help increasing friendship between the two countries' youths.

Besides Beijing, the delegation will also travel to Chinese southern provinces of Jiangxi and Guangdong.

Earlier, on arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, the youth delegation was received by Mr. Wan Suejun, deputy Secretary General of the All China Youth Federation and First Secretary at Pakistan Embassy Faraz Zaidi.

In the evening the Vice President of All China Youth Federation Mr. Lu Yongzheng would host a banquet in honour of the Paksitani youths.
