Talking to media, he said that recruitment of Baloch people in army will produce better results and support Baloch youth.
Kaira said the Army Chief scraped the plan of establishing cantonment in Sui and hinted at pulling out Army from there. However army will remain deployed in other areas of the province.
He said the announcement made by Army Chief of setting up of a cadet college and army medical college in Sui were positive initiatives.
COAS has assured withdrawal of Army from Sui in next two months on the demand of Baloch people, he said.
Pakistan Muslim League (Q) Senator Tariq Azim while reacting to the statement of the Army Chief said that every step which can end the deprivations and grievances of Baloch people is positive one.
He said it is good initiative and a long standing demand of the Baloch people. Nothing is better than to take steps which pave the way for restoring peace in Balochistan and appease its people, he added.
PML (N) member of National Assembly Abdul Qadir Baloch said that the basic problem lies within the activities of intelligence agencies and Frontier Corps in the province.
He said the inauguration of the technical institution in Gwadar and the announcement of setting up an army medical college were positive and appreciable initiatives.
