According to private news channel, they said it is imposible to bring the alleged terrorists to book under the current anti-terrorist laws while the courts are demanding the solid witnesses which is lacking in such cases.

The leader of the PPP and member national assembly Najmuldin Khan said: "A number of terrorists joined the terrorist activities again after being acquitted by the courts due to the lack of witnesses. A new law should be promulgated in order to punish these terrorists properly."
Another parliamentarian and former Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao said: "A new law should be promulgated which not only render proper punishment to the terrorists but also provide proper security to judges and witnesses. Special arrangement should be made inside jails where these high profile terrorists are to be kept."
In the last a few years the security forces have arrested hundreds of alleged terrorists during military operations in Swat and FATA. They are now being tried in the courts. But no case has so far been brought to a logical end, they added.
