Need to resolve energy crisis

He said here on Sunday that the time has come to work on alternate energy projects to resolve the issue for which it is necessary to find out resources to increasing demand for energy.

The KCCI chief was addressing a meeting organized by Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (KCCI), the meeting was a part of the progress of industrial interaction between KCCI and SSUET.

Saeed Shafiq said that the KCCI is planning to hold a country wide competition for the projects on how to deal with the energy crisis.

He said that cash awards will be given to students, professors and institutions for their best feasible projects.

The KCCI chief offered a free of cost space for SSUET stall at the forthcoming, My Karachi Exhibition' at the Expo Center for the promotion of students' innovative projects.

He said that both KCCI and SSUET have joined hands to strengthen the collaboration in order to lay foundation for industrial interaction by involving academia of the university and marketers of the chamber.

Both organizations will jointly organize workshops and seminars for the good of the industry.

KCCI shall sponsor students' projects in the final year and select few economically viable and feasible projects for industrial scale production.

Earlier Prof. Dr. S.M. Makhdumi, Dean, Faculty of Engineering welcomed the President KCCI, and his delegation members and offered

SSUET services to resolve technical difficulties of corporate sector at minimum cost.
