European stocks weaken at open

LONDON: Europe's main stock markets weakened at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index sliding 0.13 percent to 6,375.93 points.

Elsewhere, Frankfurt's DAX 30 slipped 0.05 percent to 7,740.54 points and in Paris the CAC 40 gave up 0.12 percent to 3,729.18 points.
