Dollar hits latest 4-year high vs yen, very close to 100 mark

NEW YORK: The US dollar hit its latest four-year high against the Japanese yen on Thursday, edging ever closer to the key 100 mark.

The dollar rose as 99.93 yen, its highest since April 2009 and last traded at 99.90 yen, up 0.1 percent on the day, according to Reuters data.
