The average yield on the 91-day T-bills for March 19 issue slipped to 12.471 percent from 12.616 percent at the previous auction a week ago.
The yield on the reopened 266-day T-bills fell to 13.478 percent from 13.623 percent a week ago when the bills had 273 day maturity.
The central bank sold 4 billion Egyptian pounds ($589.87 million) of 266-day bills and 1.5 billion pounds of 91-day bills.
