Talking to the media on Tuesday evening, the CM said that concerns of the people about the housing census would be addressed.
He said that some mistakes in the ground work of housing census had been reported. For their rectification, orders have been issued to the Census Commissioner, Sindh. Census Commissioner is monitoring the housing census, he added.
The chief minister said that there was no condition of the CNIC for the housing census and added that each and every house in urban as well as rural areas should be brought into the population census net and appealed to the people to cooperate with the census staff.
He said that the government was taking all possible steps to control the law and order situation in the province, especially to deal with the target killings in Karachi. He said that the police had arrested several target killers.
To a question, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that the Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza had not been removed on the demand of MQM chief Altaf Hussain. He is on one-month leave, he added.
