FPCCI President Senator Haji Ghulam Ali will hold a series of meetings at its regional offices with the presidents of affiliated chambers, registered trade bodies and associations to come up with viable proposals and future strategy to be taken up with the Federal Finance Minister and the Chairman of Federal Board of Revenue.
The affiliated chambers have also been directed to convene meetings to give final shape to their respective proposals which must reach the federation not later than the last week of instant month positively.
The purpose is to have a direct one-on-one interaction with business leaders to discuss budget proposals for the next fiscal year and to help sort out trade issues and their grievances.
VP SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pak chapter, veteran trade leader Iftikhar Ali Malik told APP on Monday that FPCCI would finalize its budget proposals for the next fiscal in the light of suggestions of the affiliated chambers.
He said Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani during his recent meeting had fully assured a federation delegation to solve all genuine grievances of traders and business community on top priority.
