Euro drops one percent against sterling

LONDON: The euro fell by one percent against sterling to a session low on Thursday after sluggish euro zone economic

The euro fell to as low as 86.30 pence, moving further away from the near 16-month high of 87.645 pence hit on Wednesday. Sterling was also helped by better-than-expected UK public finance data.
