The average yield on the T-bills for issue on Feb. 26 slipped to 13.342 percent from 13.419 percent at the previous auction on Feb. 19. The central bank, which holds the auctions on behalf of the Finance Ministry, sold 182-day bills worth 2.5 billion Egyptian pounds.
It also sold 364-day bills worth 4 billion Egyptian pounds, the same amount it offered, at an average yield of 13.9 percent.
