Six more ships carrying containers, edible oil, steel coil, iron ore, furnace oil and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage of Port Qasim during the last 24 hours.

 

Berth occupancy was 55% at the Port on Wednesday where a total of six ships namely MV. Al Abdali, Sealand Michigan, Nedlloyed Sarentisz, Bunga Alamanda, Blue Balance and MT. Lahore are currently occupying berths to load/ offload containers, edible oil, canola seed and furnace oil respectively.

 

A cargo volume of 79,565 tonnes comprising 47,792 tonnes imports and 31,773 tonnes exports inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2535 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during the last 24 hours.
