The strike would continue till the resolution of all outstanding issues. CNG Association Chairman Ghiyas Piracha alongwith other office bearers announced the decidion at a press conference held at Lahore Press Club on Friday.
He claimed that Petroleum Retailers Association also will join the strike in Lahore to protest against the demolition of the petrol pumps, low commission and cancellation of lease.
Piracha said that the CNG sector was suffering serious crises due to the two days weekly closure of CNG stations and claimed the government was considering to extend it to three days which was unfavourable for businessmen.
He added that CNG Association and All Pakistan Petroleum Retailers Association had joined hands for the welfare and protection of the members of both the bodies across the country.
APCNGA Vice Chairman Shuja Anwar, APPRA leaders Khawaja Babar and Sardar Anwar were also present on the occasion.
