The strike was observed on the appeal of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) during which doctors avoided to attend patients of out-door, in-door and emergency wards of Mayo Hospital, Services Hospital, Ganga Ram Hospital, Childrens Hospital, Lahore General Hospital and Jinnah Hospital.
The city is witnessing the worst ever medical crisis as senior doctors also unanimously decided the other day to support young doctors who are agitating for their rights for some time now. The Punjab government issued an ultimatum to the doctors to end strike or face stern action but to no avail.
