Govt talks to Young Doctors Association deadlock

According to a private channel, the emergency wards in the government hospitals in Punjab are closed for eight days and the doctors were not attending the outpatient departments since March 1.

Denuncing doctors for committing negligence from their duties, the patients are lamenting about the indifferent attitude of the government.

The government partially managed to arrange the substitute doctors in Faisalabad and emergency wards of the Allied Hospital, Civil Hospital, General Hospital and the Institute Cardiology were opened for patients.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, the YDA representatives said that they had shown flexibility, the government should also change its course of action.
