PMEX daily trading report

KARACHI: On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,212.

The traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 36.906 billion and the number of lots traded was 51,105.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 28.738 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.902 billion, crude oil PKR 1.442 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.441 billion, DJ PKR 1.238 billion, silver PKR 1.221 billion, SP500 PKR 493.152 million, platinum PKR 375.653 million, natural gas PKR 130.117 million, copper PKR 15.608 million and Japan equity PKR 7.088 million.

In agriculture commodities one lot of corn amounting to PKR 2.709 million and 5 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 2.444 million were traded.
