KIEV: Ukrainian grain exports from sea ports totalled 1.13 million tonnes in the second half of May compared with 2.02 million tonnes in the first two weeks of the month, preliminary data from the APK-Inform consultancy showed on Monday.

Wheat exports decreased to 304,000 tonnes from 724,000 tonnes, and corn shipments fell to 802,000 tonnes from 1.2 million, the consultancy said.

Most of Ukraine's grain exports last week headed to China, Iran and Netherlands.

The consultancy said grain exports jumped to about 52.7 million tonnes so far during the 2019/20 season that ends in July, from 42.1 million tonnes for the same period in 2018/19.
