Futures spread up by 1837 basis points

The futures spread increased by 1837bps to 10.90 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter improved as average daily volumes increased by 11.9 percent to 65.70 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 58.73 million shares. Average daily trading value on the futures counter increased by 33.8 per cent and stood at Rs 3.10 billion during this week.
