On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,228. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 11.803 billion and the numbers of lots traded were 10.544.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.131 billion, followed by WTI Crude Oil PKR 1.003 billion, Currencies through COTS PKR 886.396 million, NSDQ100 PKR 876.740 million, Silver PKR 257.271 million, DJ PKR 209.620 million, Platinum PKR 167.723 million, SP500 PKR 113.026 million, Palladium PKR 76.308 million, Natural Gas PKR 63.159 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 11.737 million and Copper PKR 6.518 million. In agriculture commodities 2 lots of Cotton amounting at PKR 7.485 million and 4 lots of Cotton amounting at PKR 1.891 million were traded.
