On Monday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 4.75 billion. The number of lots traded was 25.61 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,559. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 4.57 billion followed by crude oil (PKR 92.41 million), silver (PKR 82.41 million), cotton (PKR 1.66 million) and red chilli (PKR 1.39 million).
