TDAP concludes capacity-building training for Help Desk officials
KARACHI: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has concluded a two-day virtual training programme for Help Desk officials posted at Chambers of Commerce and Industry across the country. Held on 12 and 13 October 2026, the programme comprised four sessions to strengthen the Help Desks’ ability to facilitate exporters.
Day 1 (12 October): Sessions covered how to do business in Pakistan, including TDAP’s Annual Business Plan (ABP) 2026–27, export procedures, regulatory requirements and the documentation process, followed by the REX system and the Generalized Scheme of Preferences (GSP).
Day 2 (13 October): Sessions covered trade statistics, including practical use of trade data from PRAL, the Pakistan Single Window (PSW) and TDAP, and step-by-step use of ITC Trade Map. The programme also introduced the Preferential Trade Access Database (PTAD), a TDAP pilot project covering Pakistan’s trade and tariff lines, including preferential and duty-free lines, across its bilateral and multilateral trade agreements.
The programme also covered handling of common exporter queries and use of the Help Desk Dashboard.
