An order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Hikatullah, stated that all kinds of public gatherings, pillion riding, and rallies are banned in the city until November 11, 2026.

According to the notification, gatherings and activities that risk compromising law and order, disrupting the flow of traffic, or impeding the movement of citizens will not be permitted.

Furthermore, legal restrictions have been imposed regarding the display of weapons, the pitching of tents on public highways, and the erection of temporary structures.

The district administration has clarified that legal action under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code will be taken against those who violate these orders.
