KARACHI: A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, CMA CGM Maupassant and Bi Jia Shan left the port on Thursday morning, while three more ships, Hansa Africa, Fairchem Hawk and Jahan Sister-I are expected to sail on Thursday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 117,333 tones comprising 102,896 tones imports cargo and 14,437 export cargo carried in 2,884 Containers (2,184 TEUs Imports & 700 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 12 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, FS Bitumen and Meghna Venus & two more ships, SLS Topaz and MSC Brianna-V scheduled to load/offload Bitumen, Coal and Container are expected to take berths MW-1, PIBT and QICT respectively on Thursday 20th August, 2026.
