ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee on the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme (SAP) and reviewed various matters relating to the programme.
The DPM/FM re-emphasized the involvement of local communities in identifying basic infrastructure development schemes to ensure that SAP funds are utilized in the best interest of the people.
He also stressed the timely completion of the schemes to ensure maximum benefit from the allocated funds.
The meeting was attended by the Ministers for Inter-Provincial Coordination, Planning & Development, Science & Technology, Communications, and Parliamentary Affairs; SAPM Tariq Bajwa; Secretaries of Cabinet, Power, and Housing & Works; and representatives of the Governments of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
