LAHORE: The Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed the lower judiciary to decide within two months the cases of under trial accused in custody for more than three years.
Chief Justice Aalia Neelum taking serious notice of prolonged detention of under trial prisoners directed all sessions judges to ensure that cases involving under trial prisoners detained for more than three years are concluded within the stipulated period and sought compliance reports.
