Saylani Welfare chief injured in Turkiye, admitted to Karachi hospital
KARACHI: The founder and chairman of Saylani Welfare International Trust, Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri, was injured after slipping and falling in the ablution area at Saylani’s head office in Türkiye during his visit to the country. He suffered a fracture to his shoulder bone and was immediately shifted to Karachi. He arrived in Karachi at around 8:30am on Friday and was taken directly to a private hospital, Aga Khan University Hospital.
His condition is reported to be stable and improving. Following the necessary X-rays, tests and medical examination, consultant doctors have decided to defer surgery for the time being. His condition and reports will be monitored, and the consultants will reassess him after two days to determine whether surgery is required.
The Saylani Welfare management has appealed to everyone to pray for Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri’s speedy and complete recovery, and for ease in the coming days.
