KARACHI: The Energy Department, Government of Sindh, celebrated the Saudi Arabia–Pakistan–Türkiy/Makkah Joint Defence Pact at the office of Sindh Transmission & Dispatch Company (STDC) in Karachi.
The event was attended by Secretary Energy Shahab Qamar Ansari, Managing Director Thar Coal Energy Board Tariq Ali Shah, Special Secretary Energy Aslam Soomro, Additional Secretary Energy Waqas Rajput, Director Alternative Energy Shahnawaz Khahro and senior officers of STDC, led by CEO Muhammad Saleem Shaikh.
The ceremony reaffirmed the shared commitment of Pakistan towards regional peace, stability, mutual cooperation and collective security. The office was decorated with the national flags of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye, symbolizing friendship and solidarity among the three countries.
The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and expressions of solidarity and hope for stronger regional cooperation, lasting peace and prosperity.
