Malik appointed as SBP deputy governor

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Muhammad Ali Malik as Deputy Governor, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), for a five-year term with immediate effect.

According to a notification issued by the Finance Division on Monday, the appointment has been made under Section 11A(2) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956, as amended in 2022.

The notification stated that the federal government appointed Muhammad Ali Malik as Deputy Governor, SBP, for a period of five years with immediate effect.
