KARACHI: A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them edible oil carrier ‘Peonia’ left the port on Thursday morning, while four more ships, CMA CGM Nile, Mercury Sky, Union Mariner and Chemstar River are expected to sail on Thursday.
Cargo volume of 114,679 tones comprising 93,898 tones imports cargo and 20,781 export cargo carried in 2,418 Containers (1,435 TEUs Imports & 983 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 16 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, PST Genesis, Cymoda Pride, ES Warrior and BSG Bimini & another ship ‘Tucapel’ carrying Palm oil, Soya Bean Seed, Coal and Container are expected to take berths LCT, FAP, PIBT and QICT respectively on Thursday 6th July, 2026.
