KARACHI: In a major push toward digital sovereignty and artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, Data Vault Pakistan and Galaxy Technology (Pvt) Ltd. have entered into a strategic partnership agreement aimed at expanding local cloud capabilities and building high-performance computing infrastructure within the country.

The agreement was signed by Syed Zeeshan Ali, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Data Vault Pakistan, and Muhammad Jhanghir Chief Executive Officer of Galaxy Technology (Pvt) Ltd.

Under the strategic alliance, Data Vault Pakistan will provide a suite of high-tech digital solutions, including AI Model-as-a-Service (MaaS), GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS), Sovereign and Hybrid Cloud Solutions, alongside AI-ready data center services and high-performance computing (HPC). The firm will also oversee cybersecurity, compliance, and managed machine learning operations (MLOps) tailored for both public and private sector adoption.

Complementing these services, Galaxy Technology (Pvt) Ltd. will leverage its nationwide Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure, national connectivity services, and network integration capabilities to power the underlying network framework.

Speaking at the signing, executives from both companies emphasized that the joint venture aims to ensure critical data and advanced AI workloads remain hosted securely within national borders.

The future of AI should not only be consumed in Pakistan it should be built, powered, and hosted in Pakistan,” the leadership stated in a joint posture, reiterating a commitment to technical self-reliance.

The collaboration comes at a crucial juncture as Pakistani public institutions and commercial enterprises increasingly seek localized, secure, and sovereign cloud solutions to comply with modern data privacy frameworks and reduce dependence on foreign digital infrastructure.
