ISLAMABAD: A 40-member United States business delegation is scheduled to visit Pakistan from July 26 to 31, 2026, in a significant move aimed at enhancing bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two countries.
According to an official communication issued by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the delegation will visit Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore, where it will engage with key government stakeholders, business leaders, and industry representatives across multiple sectors, including defence innovation, aerospace, space technology, information technology, energy, healthcare, mining, and infrastructure.

During their stay in Islamabad, the delegation is expected to call on the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, in addition to participating in a series of high-level meetings and sector-specific briefings.
The SIFC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Pakistan’s Embassy in Washington, has finalized a comprehensive programme to facilitate engagements through business-to-business (B2B) meetings, networking sessions, and policy briefings aimed at showcasing Pakistan’s economic potential.
Key interactions will include meetings with the Ministry of Commerce, Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), and leading technology stakeholders. A dedicated IT sector briefing will be hosted by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT), jointly organized with Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), P@SHA, and the National Incubation Center, with participation from technology startups.
A central highlight of the visit will be engagements with the SIFC and top political leadership, including a scheduled meeting with the Prime Minister, reflecting Pakistan’s efforts to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and strengthen economic diplomacy.
The delegation comprises prominent business leaders, investors, and technology experts with interests spanning textiles, artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare, critical minerals, energy, and defence technologies. Several participants have expressed interest in expanding operations in Pakistan, forming joint ventures, and exploring opportunities in emerging sectors such as AI-driven solutions, telemedicine, mineral development, and digital infrastructure.
Dr. Fawad Zafar Khan, CEO of USMDDirect, is focusing on strengthening Pakistan’s healthcare system through advanced telemedicine infrastructure, remote patient monitoring, and AI-powered healthcare solutions, with potential applications in international markets, including Saudi Arabia’s Hajj sector.
Maqsood Ali Kamboh, President of TSI Engineering Inc., is interested in infrastructure development, medical devices, robotics, and digital banking linkages, while Zain Jeewanjee, Founder of Insure123, plans to promote collaboration in AI, health tech, and insurance sectors Naveed Anwar has been recently decorated by Government of Pakistan and is willing to explore economic opportunities in Pakistan. He has created a Chamber of Commerce in mid-West, with a representative office based in Pakistan.
Other key participants include Abdul Hafeez Khan, CEO of Tweaker Energy Drink Corporation, Khurram Hussain, Founder of ERVINEi, and Patrick Eibl, CEO of ValVik GTC, who aims to strengthen business linkages between Pakistan, the United States, and Europe.
The delegation also includes representatives from international firms and organizations such as Tandem Defense, SecurePort International, and iRocket, among others.
Officials have been directed to ensure comprehensive logistical, protocol, and administrative arrangements for the visit, with designated focal persons coordinating with SIFC.
The visit is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening Pakistan-US economic relations, fostering private-sector collaboration, and opening new avenues for investment across key sectors of the economy.
