Fire breaks out at Afipsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region as result of drone attack

MOSCOW: A fire broke out at the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia’s southern Krasnodar region as a result of falling drone debris, the regional emergency services said in a post on Telegram.

Drone debris also damaged several private houses, an apartment block, and a building at a railway crossing.

Some debris fell onto the premises of two facilities, on of which caught fire, the post says.

One person was injured and is getting medical help, the emergency services said.
