These views were expressed by Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab while visiting Kharadar General Hospital.
He said that Kharadar General Hospital’s more than 100 years of quality medical services are a great facility for the people of the area. He said that the professional workforce is performing the important duty of saving human lives. On this occasion, he visited the various departments of Kharadar General Hospital and participated in the nursing research seminar organized by the hospital, listened to research papers and distributed certificates of appreciation among students and teachers.
On this occasion, the president of the hospital and renowned industrialist Muhammad Bashir JanMuhammad said that only with good intentions, selflessness, continuous hard work and true dedication can institutions be successful. Kharadar General Hospital’s more than 100 years of superior medical, educational, and research services are a shining example of bringing ease and improvement to human lives and it is the result of the sincere efforts of the hospital’s administrative, medical, and support staff day and night.
Today, thousands of nurses and doctors are training from the hospital and providing services across the country and abroad. On this occasion, Director of the School of Nursing, Talat Parveen Shah said that the prestigious field of nursing requires more attention in Pakistan. With government attention and cooperation from relevant institutions, the nursing workforce can be increased significantly which can lead to the improvement of human lives.
