Mayor orders faster completion of civic works

KARACHI: Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab on Friday chaired an important meeting of Town Municipal Commissioners to review ongoing development projects, road-cutting operations and drain-cleaning activities in the city.

During the meeting, Municipal Commissioners briefed the Mayor on development initiatives and civic issues in their respective towns, while discussions focused on improving coordination between the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and Town Municipal Corporations (TMCs).

Wahab said KMC would soon launch a series of major development schemes across the city, including the rehabilitation of 170 roads.
