Nawaz, Maryam meet British HC

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met British High Commissioner Jane Marriott in Lahore and discussed regional situation besides matters of mutual interest.

The British high commissioner appreciates Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s valuable services for Pakistan and acknowledges his contributions to national development. Jane Marriott terms the ongoing development initiatives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif commendable and expresses pleasure over the celebration of the Basant festival in Lahore.

The meeting reflects a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral engagement and cultural ties.
