UIO condemns attack on Imambargah

LAHORE: United Interfaith Organization’s (UIO) Chairman Reverend Dr Majid Abel on Saturday strongly condemned the tragic suicide bombing at an Imam Bargah in Islamabad.

He stated that this incident is not only an attack on humanity but also a direct assault on the fundamental teachings of all religions. He expressed deep sorrow and grief over the unfortunate suicide attack at the place of worship.

He emphasised that an attack on a place of worship is a blatant violation of our shared moral values, and all religions uphold the sanctity and dignity of human life above all.
