KARACHI: Gold and silver prices strongly rebounded on Saturday, tracking an international bullion upsurge, traders said.
The new rise drove local gold prices up by Rs11,700 to Rs519,462 per tola and Rs10,030 to Rs445,354 per 10 grams, according to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
On international stage, gold bullion prices soared by USD117, reaching USD4,967 per ounce while silver rates rose by USD4.44, settling at 78 per ounce, it cited.
Domestic silver prices regained sharply, growing by Rs444 and Rs381 to Rs8,269 per tola and Rs7,089 per 10 grams respectively, the association added.
