ISLAMABAD: Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah on Friday reaffirmed the strong, brotherly ties between Pakistan and Oman, highlighting the shared Islamic values, mutual respect, and historical bonds that underpin their relationship.

During a meeting with a parliamentary delegation from Oman, he underscored the importance of Pakistan’s relationship with Oman, particularly acknowledging its warm hospitality towards the Pakistani community residing there.

Shah further called for increased parliamentary cooperation, emphasising that both nations share key interests that contribute to regional peace and stability.

In response, members of the Omani delegation expressed their deep respect for Pakistan, describing it as a valued and trusted partner.

They also praised the contributions of the Pakistani Diaspora to Oman’s growth and development, reinforcing the historical and religious ties that form the cornerstone of bilateral relations.

Both sides agreed to strengthen collaboration in trade, investment, manpower, and parliamentary exchanges to further solidify their long-standing partnership.
