Track, trace violations: Chanar Sugar Mills denies any sealing action by FBR

ISLAMABAD: Chanar Sugar Mills Ltd on Wednesday categorically clarified that no sealing action has been taken against the mill by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for Track and Trace violations.

Chanar Sugar Mills Ltd has categorically clarified its compliance status regarding the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) Track and Trace System implementation.

According to a statement issued by the said mill on Wednesday, contrary to recent reports circulating in media, Chanar Sugar Mills Ltd has maintained full compliance with all FBR regulations, including the mandatory Track and Trace System requirements.

The mill has not violated any provisions of the tax monitoring framework established by the FBR.

“Chanar Sugar Mills takes its regulatory obligations with utmost seriousness and has invested significantly in ensuring complete adherence to the FBR’s Track and Trace System,” said Ikramul Haq Sajid Resident Director.

“We have been consistently complying with all FBR directives and maintain transparent operations throughout the crushing season.”
