KARACHI: The Pakistan Navy is facilitating a Pakistan–China Joint Oceanographic Cruise through its National Hydrographic Office (NHO), supporting the ongoing scientific mission led by the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) in collaboration with China’s Second Institute of Oceanography (SIO).
The Navy has deployed its survey vessel, PNS Behr Masah, to assist in the mission, highlighting its commitment to promoting maritime awareness and supporting marine scientific research in Pakistan.
The joint cruise represents a major scientific collaboration between Pakistan and China, aimed at improving understanding of the marine environment in Pakistani waters.
