KARACHI: The 37th convocation of the Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC), part of the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), was held at Bahria Auditorium in Karachi. Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, attended as the chief guest.
A total of 353 graduates received their degrees, including four PhDs, 41 MS degrees, and 308 bachelor’s degrees. During the ceremony, the chief guest also awarded 39 medals to top-performing students, including seven President’s Gold Medals, four Chief of the Naval Staff Gold Medals, eight Chancellor’s Silver Medals, 18 Rector’s Gold Medals, and two Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medals.
Addressing the graduates, Chief Minister Shah congratulated students and their families, emphasizing that NUST PNEC continues to produce skilled engineers who contribute to Pakistan’s growing industrial and technological sectors. He also highlighted the presence of foreign students at the college as a testament to its international standing and academic excellence.
The convocation was attended by numerous civil and military dignitaries, alongside proud parents of the graduating students.
