KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 172,642 Tons of cargo comprising 107,269 Tons of import cargo and 65,373 Tons of export cargo during last 24hrs ending at 0700 Hours.
The total import cargo of 107,269 Tons comprised of 24,903 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 24,903 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 5,272 Tons of Chickpeas and 4,740 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 172,642 Tons comprised of 34,244 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 370 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 30,049 Tons of Clinkers and 710Tons of Liquid Cargo.
There are six ships namely Zhong Gu Hang Zhou, Interasia Amplify, Zhong Chang Jin Sheng, Hui Fa, Agria, and Maritime Tranquility on Berth at Karachi Port Trust.
Eight ships namely Swan Lake, Ever Smart, P. Aliki, X-Press Bardsey, Friedrike Schulte, New Ability, Hg Hongkong, and Javid 2 sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, Hansa Africa, Sedra, Chemroad Quest and Chem Barium carrying Container, Steel Coil, Palm oil and Chemicals, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively during last 24 hours, Meanwhile four more ships, New Ability, MH Borga, Aquila Ocean and Pioneer Gas scheduled to load/offload Fuel oil, Palm oil, Soya Bean Seed and LPG also arrived at outer anchorage on 10th December 2025.
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘Hansa Africa’ left the port on today morning, while two more ships, Mansour-M and Talara are expected to sail on 11th December afternoon.
Cargo volume of 253,459 tonnes, comprising 207,863 tonnes imports cargo and 45,596 export cargo carried in 5,228 Containers (3,015 TEUs Imports & 2,213 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 11 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, New Ability and Doric Valour & two more ships, Lapis Lazuli and X-Press Kailash scheduled to load/offload Fuel oil, Coal, Bulk Cargo and Container are expected to take berths at FOTCO, PIBT, MW-2 and QICT on today11th December, 2025 (.)
